There are many very functional radios out there that use a mono key jack.

You can plug your key/bug into one jack and the computer in the other.
Much simpler than doing it in the radio, which would only provide one of the

all key plugs/jacks are "three-circuit" ... tip, ring and
sleeve ... in both "1/8" and "1/4" diameters.
IMHO, modifying software to satisfy the wants of a few

I'd like to repeat a feature request:
The option of "NONE" for CW KEY2.
This would allow use of a mono plug to send external CW. A few days ago I
went to drop my KX3 into the position I normally use with a rig that uses a
mono 1/4" key plug. Even with an adaptor to 1/8", it wouldn't work be
