I have had my K3 on the air for about a month now. I operate 95% CW and feel comfortable with how to operate this rig on the air in that regard. I have not had much time to spend getting acclimated with the rig on SSB until this weekend. I spent a great deal of time my first week adjusting my EQ

Sounds like you need to check the TX Equalizer settings. Tap Menu and scroll to TX EQ. There are 8 EQ bands. Many people seem to have good luck with bands 1&2 set to -16, bands 3-7 around 0, and band 8 at -6 or so. Select each band by tapping 1-8 and adjust using the VFO A knob. More informati

I can think of two possibilities. 1) You do not have the offset correctly recorded for the 2.7 filter Be certain it is correct (matches the marking on the filter) either in the K3 menu or K3Utility. 2) You cut too much of the 400 Hz band in TX EQ. Normally there should be no reduction for band
