The "SPL N/A" message has been in the firmware for a very long time. It's telling you that SPLIT is not applicable to the present cross- mode settings of VFO A and B. Cross-mode SPLIT is allowed in some cases, such as CW/SSB and SSB/CW. You can check or change the VFO B mode using BSET. Wayn
