The temp is now in the 40's here in PA and is going up to 60's later. I
have some things I have to do outside around the QTH but I can't pass up the
Great weather.
So I should be on the air around between 15:30 and 16:00 UTC. I will be at
the pond on the Appalachian
Sorry to state I did not do well with Randy. Heard a couple stations working
him on 20m only. Better luck next time.

FYI Ron, there is a group called "HF Pack" that is very strong in Pedestrian
mobile operation. both CW and SSB. Their various calling frequencies are
listed athttp://www.hfpack.com/ Most of the members seem to be on SSB with

My two hikes and operations in the past week were very enjoyable. Who would
have thought we would have 50'F temperatures in January and no snow. I will
never get to use my snow shoes. :-)
