than that the bands just cycle round. Assuming you haven't set any
transverter bands pressing down from 1.8 MHz takes you to the 28 MHz

Look in the manual and on page 5, top of the second column, you will see the
K2 'Frequency Ranges' listed. We commonly refer to those as 'bands' 3.5 to
4 MHz is the 80 meter band, 7 to 7.3 is the 40 meter band, ... 28.0 to 28.8
is the K2 10 meter band (the actual amateur allocation goes up

Relays K12-15 switch the 8 VCO ranges. Once you have selected a range the
LCD is your indicator of what band you are on. Because they are latching
relays it will "remember" what band you are on.
