I have a Terratec Prodigy USB TV Stick (DVB-T/Analogue) and I'm running
Ubuntu feisty with the experimental tree of em28xx.
However when plugging in the stick suddenly messages appear in my
terminal windows and I'm not able to use modprobe anymore. (lsusb
doesn't work either)

modprobe em28xx card=16
modprobe em2880-dvb
card=16 look at the Docu in "v4l", 16 = Terratec Hybrid XS

some months ago some guys wrote that they found a bug with the prodigy device.
I have the same bug. If I load the modules for the Prodigy, it won't work.
But if i load the modules for the normal Terratec XS (card=16) it will work.
And now i ask you if someone found a solution of the problem?

as you might have seen there is another thread around here because of
the Prodigy Stick not working.
So my questions are:
1) Is this Stick proposed to work?
2) If it is a bug, what can I do to help tackling the problem?
Any help would be very very appreciated!

sorry I'm busy with porting some drivers to the userspace xc3028
driver, afterwards I can continue with improving the actual driver..
should be done within the next few days.
cx88, em28xx drivers are already ported (but not well tested);
saa7134, cxusb drivers are still to do..

Hi Max,
I try it also, but it doesn't work for me with edgy ( Kernel 2.6.17-11).
I always get the the i2c-error.(look older post)
