Greetings;
I found a 5i25 UPDATE.zip, which contained a script I had a heck of a time
making run even on this machine. Spaces in linux filenames are not treated
at all well. Then I went looking for where it put stuff and found it in
/usr/share/doc/hostmot2-firmware-5i25.
Because I can't writ

2.6 as of 10 days ago should have '5i25-internal' selection for boardname,
without doing anything.

Hey all, this was an incorrect merge of master into the 2.6 branch.
I used push --force to revert 2.6 to where it was before the merge.
This means if you pulled the 2.6 branch in about the last hour, your
next pull will not be a fast-forward, and you may have to use
git pull --force or similar.

Greetings;
Running it for practice just to see how it works, one thing I see, or more
specifically don't see, is in the choice of BOB's there is not a quasi
standard, parport bob such as the C1G available as a selection. And because
the display isn't showing the actual pins on the db25 that are
unfortunately I am away and will be able to test further only in two
weeks.
I selected the board "5i25" from the drop down list and filled all the
relevant fields AFAIK.
Looking at the documentation here linuxcnc.org/docs/html/pncconf.html
section 2, and working from memory, I only had to fil

The internal units always are Metric. Except, for some reason, in Axis
(and Gremlin has its roots in Axis).

Hallo,
I am only a GUI programer, and while coding gmoccapy, some time I got
very frustrated, because of the unit handling in the different linuxcnc
parts.
I.e. why is it not possible to give the grid size to gremlin in metric
units? It will only accept imperial values.
I did also make some g
