Can someone please explain to me the development process for LinuxCNC? Is
there a project lead, or is LinuxCNC developed by the entire community? If I
create a new feature that I would like to see in the LinuxCNC software, how
would I go about it getting published? Are parts of LinuxCNC being
For recording movements at every 1/2 second intervals is the g-code file that
you play back consist of a new line for each 1/2 second? So that every line of
g-code is a x,y,z, and feedrate value for that 1/2 second interval. If so I
think there would need to be some preprocessing of the G-code

First I would like to introduce myself. I am a Manufacturing Engineer and a
self taught programmer. I've been working with CNC equipment for about 4
years. I stumbled across LinuxCNC a couple years back but just recently began
using in on one of my vertical milling platforms.
