Terry,
I believe it depends on whether you ship the end product with or
without the power supply. If you ship the end product with the power
supply, I don't think you need the electrical ratings on the end
product. However, if the supply does not ship with the

Greetings,
CSA can provide all the CSA logos on diskette or photo-ready sheets. Just ask
anybody at CSA.
Also, several years ago, I bought a diskette with Windows type True-Type fonts
made by Agfa. It includes a couple of fonts called Industry Eng. which have
such goodies as logos for CSA,
In response to Pete Tarver's info about the Furukawa TEX-E, we had to check on
this a couple of months ago for one of our clients.
Pete's right about the Annex U not applying to the Furukawa wire under Amd. 3.
However, Furukawa petitioned the standard committee, and the notes from the

Rod,
I think you will have to make sure your tests (to Class A)
comply with the FCC Part 15 test setup (which differs
somewhat from CISPR-22 -- see ANSI C63.4) and also include
tests above 1 GHz if the equipment has clocks of 108 MHz
Robert,
My experience has been that separating logic ground from the

Hi,
The stackup you describe combined with the split in the power planes is of
concern to me. I have labelled them with numbers as shown below
to discuss a few issues.
The stackup is:

Hello,
I'm looking for UL logo labels to place on the outside of a UL approved
box. Maybe 1/4 diameter would work. Anyone know sources for such
things ? Also, does anyone know of a collection of cliparts or
graphics that inlude things like the UL logo, universal safety
markings etc. ?
Mike,
Thanks for the information. I wish I had tried moving the wires against
the chassis or putting ferrites on the fan wires.
I'm not sure what I could do about this from a practical view point,
though, except to look for another PC. I doubt if the FCC would allow
you to modify the PC.

Egon,
being a member of the mentioned TC74 workgroup I would like to
point out, that Amd.4 of IEC 950 still only allows polyimid or FEP
wires to be used in Scl. 2.9.4.4
