Hi John, You are right about impedance discontinuities being a factor. However, in my experience with HDMI, these changes are swamped by a combination of SI imperfections made up of intra pair skew, amplitude imbalance and uneven rise/fall times within the HDMI data pairs. Adding common mode ch
