EC 60601-1 + US Deviations, and is more
onerous than the IEC standard due to the national deviations. If
evaluating for Europe, one needs EN 60601-1, in order to have all of the
various EC member states' deviations. Or, the national deviations to the
IEC standard are published in the CB Bulletin
