Doug, No. The WEEE and RoHS Directives are NOT New Approach Directives that require CE marking. As far as marking goes, the WEEE Directive requires the wheeled bin symbol. There are no marking requirements for the RoHS Directive. Neither Directive requires a D of C. Joe Martin Martin Consulting

A simple question that has caused a big discussion. Since the CE DoC is used to declare all the pertinent European directives to which a product complies and since WEEE and RoHS are also European directives, then CE DoCs should list at least the WEEE directive as of now and additionally the RoHS
