Aliexpress seems to have lots of fanless mini pc's at modest prices, so that is a possibility. Can you get Advantech products down there? They have been making industrial pc's for many years and have a decent reputation. I think they may be Taiwanese. A quick check on them shows their prices are

The version running a 4 core GX-415 processor should be fine for LinuxCNC.  I use Wyse 5020 thin clients on my lathe and router, which use the same SOC. The 2 core version is a bit slow if you are using it with Ethernet FPGA cards. I used one on my lathe for a couple of years and it occasionall

Yes, "Mini ITX" is just a shape and a standard for where mounting holes go but it is a shape that is sold to a cost-sensitive market where low power ususage and low cost maters. The ITX market is large enough that mass production drives prices down. So it is a good fit to hobby-level machine cont

That code is testing the 180 degree issue, which is not usually a major problem as far as accuracy is concerned. Try using a R value of 5.002, instead of 5.0025. In this case the arc does not technically fit. Some controllers throw a fit and some quietly fudge the radius to fit. I think LCNC fu

I used similar fanless boxes in my plasma and mill, though they are a different make and only have 2 Ethernet ports. They seem to work pretty well, though the one in my mill sometimes has display issues in cold weather. Leaving it to warm up for a couple of minutes then rebooting fixes the prob
