Well I don't know how helpful this is but I used to have an RF45 that I retrofit to CNC. It was a nice little mill but I have since sold it and moved on to a Vertical Machining center retrofit. My machine used Geckos and brushed DC servos on it. The ones I chose were probably a bit overkill but i
