Actually, I find it very usefull. The RH9 gnome2 stuff can't find the
gnome1 stuff still on my system, or my user menus,
I've noticed that in recent builds of e from cvs, if I leave a window
open for several hours it's stacking order gets mysteriously raised.
This doesn't seem to relate to the EWMH awareness of the window in some
way, but I could be wrong.
For example, an Eterm I opened 2 hours ago now covers up any

I have only seen this on dual-head setups. If a (terminal, browser,...)
window is on the right-hand screen _and_ touches (with its left-hand border)
the (left-hand) border of said right-hand screen, _then_ trying to maximize
the window results in m
