Hey,
I have to admit that I'm personally a fan of the current system (many
small windows) - it was that way under E16 too, and the control panel
is shaping up pretty nicely. All it needs is that the layout could be
3x3 instead of 1x8, but it's not bad right now either though if you ask
me. Either
Agreed... I´ve tried to stay away from this, but I just can´t ignore
these mails anymore. While I understand there are various problems and
all this hasn´t exactly gone the right way, I don´t think any
alternative path would have been possible, given the personalities and
viewpoints involved. This
Hey,
First of all I´d like to thank you Ben for setting this up. Absolutely
fantastic idea. We at Get-E.org have thought about setting up a mailing
list too (IRC doesn´t always work that well once there are so many
translators etc involved) - this sounds exactly like what we´d need.
I´ve already
Hello,
I mostly agree with everything you just said, especially the forum
point is something I´ve thought about bringing up as well. We
originally removed the forum link when edevelop.org was down for a week
or so and we weren´t sure about the situation. This said, we should set
up a common forum
This is covered in the Get-E.org news
(http://get-e.org/Main/News/index.html). In other words GCC 3.3
doesn't support UTF-8, and the weatrher module currently requires it.
If you compile it with GCC 3.4 it should be fine. Either way, it's a
known issue.

Thanks - looks very nice solitaire is indeed quite an addictive
game. To the E17 devs here, just wondering, is there a reason why this
isn't in CVS? Sounds like something for e17/apps/games? :)

Hey,
Looks great. I just added a section (and some news) about it on
http://get-e.org/Documentation/User_Guide_pages/3.3.html. If you have
spare time, please check it out if I got everything right. If there's
anything you want me to edit, let me know.

Thanks for all the feedback :) Btw for those who are talking about
translating it, could you update your snapshot of the edocs site
before you start? It's been updated (again - after it was already
updated once today) - all the things raster mentioned should be fixed
now and it's future proof (tm)
Hey all,
I posted some time ago about the work-in-progress E17 users guide me
and Tom (gimpel) have been working on. It's complete now :) Please see
http://lude.net/edocs - it's the final version, including the
layout/screenshots etc. Currently we still have the Unofficial tag
of course. We've
