Why should I now use /usr as the build dir? I built E17 succesfully in
/usr/local/bin/enlightenment-e17/

unfortunately all font settings (set by nautilus preferences: fonts)
gets dropped at exit.
after starting nautilus/preferences/fonts the fonts are restored without

now you might want to check your x setup - do you have 2 screen outs (tv out) if
so, disable it.
That did it. Thanks for the info. E17 looks great!
