If I left click and then scroll to themes I immediatetely
get a segmentation fault when mouse is hovered over themes. Now if I remove my
themes except for the default theme I can browse the themes which would only
have the original e17 theme. I don’t have any debug messages at the

I see. I think the reason is that evince does not start this subpixle

seems not to be the gnome-settings-daemon, which startes the gtk themes

Right now (update today), eloquence doesn't work anymore: it makes E17
segfault :( . What is exactly needed for eloquence? I mean, which libs?
Maybe if i recompile them manually it'll be ok...

Maybe it's only a problem of antialiasing... I had some trouble recently
with fonts; i even had to try the cvs of gtk (1), supporting
antialiasing... Now everything's ok; what happens inside your apps don't
concern e17, because e17 is merely a decoration (from the point of the
app). If it's evi

Hi;
you don't need to have gnome intalled to config your fonts sizes for the gtk
apps, you config the fonts in your default gtkrc file with a line like
gtk-font-name = "Bitstream Vera Sans 10"
before the include for your theme, i do slackware, my gtkrc file is in
/usr/share/themes/Default/gtk
Hello,
All my Gtk apps have huge fonts, like firefox, thunderbird, etc. I
recently uninstalled gnome so I no longer have gnome-session-properties,
nor do I want it. How may I fix my Gtk font problem? I recompiled all my
apps with the -gnome USE flag (I'm on Gentoo) but that doesn't fix it,

Hi,
could someone answer why the font size in QT/KDE applications (here:
kile) are different if I stay in E16 and E17? I need font size 10 in
E16 to get the same size as 12 in E17. The font is "Monosize". I
couldn't test which font size is correct, because I've not a full KDE
environment installed
Hi there!
Does e17 support subpixel smoothing somehow?
It's hard to read pdf documents with my notebook (I tried evince, gpdf
and acrobat (7.0.1.1). The chars make me headache. ;-(
In gnome and xfce subpixel smoothing helps.
Thanks for your help.
