I am a long time FreeBSD user, now using 7.0 beta-1, havent had any problems
with E17 for a year or something. Pastebin the errors and make sure you're
strictly following the user guide (that I wrote)so we can solve your prolbem
and/or modify the guide.

Most of the configuration dialogs are now modules. You can:
1) Go to Configuration -> Modules and enable them all;
2) Nuke your config and the conf modules will be anabled by default.
