ly-white windows whose appearance was defined by the theme (mainly
windows from the Settings panel), saw the similarly theme-defined appearance of
the representations in the pager, and assumed that the representations were
using actual images of the windows in question.
On closer examination, that do
seeing them next to one another is kind of important for actually
noticing them at all.

Every time you let somebody set a limit t
find the
way to do it; it did not occur to me (and probably never would have) that there

It's already been established that that expectation was incorrect, but in the
situation, I don't think my reaction was entirely unreasonable.

Me sad. I was hoping to register a vote for E16, but they don't even have it in
the list...

Fairly late on as far as I recall, E16 added support for "window groups" - that
is, tying multiple windows together so that the same set of flags (e.g.

It's not a huge deal, at least not in this context.

I chalked it up to a VirtualBox bug, but if you're seeing it on actual hardware
maybe it isn't.

E17 even as close to my preferred
configuration as I've managed. There are at least two behaviors which show up
when I turn it on (window translucency and a strange visual "size bounce" effect
when switching focus) which I find undesirable, and the latter at least I've

Every time you let somebody set a limit they start moving it.

fact that there is exactly one person listed
on the "Enlightenment Contact" page for e16, Kim Woelders. I could just report
the bug to that person by E-mail, but that seems like circumventing proper
channels, and I'd prefer not to do that unless there really *are* no proper
channels.

1.0.0-3.1 and a self-compiled copy of 1.0.10. I now think this is probably being
triggered by a change somewhere else in the system.
E16 does not create any logs, or output any console messages, that I'm aware of.
How can I track down the cause of this bug? Any ideas what might be
pite the fact that that toggle is set to off. It's
somewhat less aggravating than the other issue, but I'd still rather
avoid it; any ideas what changed, as above, and/or how to fix it?.
