I did make sure to install all pkgs for Debian as noted in the user

I dl'd a theme into ~/.enlightenment/themes, unzipped and untarred it. Was I supposed

I have managed to install enlightenment. When I entered 'enlightenment' into a
terminal it brings up a window- "Another Window
Manager is alrady running" and it has the option of editing user start up files. I
let enlightenment edit those files
automatically which worked great for root b
