Yeah, I had tried this right after I sent my last reply. Luckily I have several
machines running E17 and I ls -l that directory and was like, damnit... lol
Works now, thanks for helping.

That's not true.
Slackware (which I run) does not come with PAM installed and I built and run
E17 just fine.
It just says "No PAM support was built into Enlightenment, so desk locking is
disabled"
I am wanting to build E17 with PAM enabled (It's installed now).

I could not find this anywhere.
Is there a ./configure switch or does it automatically build if PAM is on the
system already?
I've done this once before about six months ago and I forget how I did it LOL
(I need to start taking notes)
Thanks,

I managed to fix this by changing the rendering from OpenGL to Frame Buffer.
(Root has OpenGL though, and still transparent)
Like I said, not a big deal and I can deal with the Frame Buffer.

The settings for root is exactly the same for my user as I copied the .e folder
from my user to root.
Still, root has transparancy and user does not. This happens on two systems

I have a weird issue. If I run Terminology as root, and go to the Video section
in options, and enable Transparency, it works.
When I do this as a different normal user, it does not.
Is there some weird permissions I need to set somewhere?
Thanks,

Nevermind. After hours of digging through edc files I realized Efenniht was
using the default.edj style for Alternate style and apparently at one point
someone changed E17's from the nice shiny one to the weird matte gray.

So I updated everything to the release versions.
Now my Efenniht "alternate" shelf style is defaulting to the E17 default shelf
style.
What had changed to cause this?

Hello,
For some reason my E17 crashes randomly on my computer running a Radeon HD
5870.
I do not have this problem on my other computer running an nVidia card.
Usually happens if I try to use google hangouts or mess with 3D stuff
(xscreensaver, etc.)
Both computers compiled and are running
