Jeff Thanks for the reply. I removed the "TryExec" line from the "Enlightenment.desktop" file and then E came up without any problems. Before doing this, I installed XFCE to see if that might initialize something. This caused the Session menu to appear with XFCE but still no E. I would guess

When I installed E17 on a 32-bit version of Fedora 17, I had no problem with this. I moved the "enlightenment.desktop" file to the "/usr/share/xsessions" directory and it worked. On a 64-bit version, I cannot get this to work. I think I have all of the files in the right place but it stubbor
