Nowadays, I am using E on Clear Linux and it is running at the speed of the
light!
Although it is the fastest setup I ever achieved on my devices here, I
don't recommend it unless you really
need the extra juice that Clear Linux can provide.
Too much work to make everything working properly.

As noted, Arch (or perhaps a derivative) is the best for having the
latest e, and rasterman always had a build ready
