Thanks, that was useful, I can reproduce it now. It turned out I always
have my windows layed out so that the pointer passes through other
windows when switching desktops.

I have no problems with Mozilla, focus, and desktop switching.
I too have that desktop switching problem. Whenever I switch back to a
