I get this too. Typically you have to kill the program when it's
iconfied and then click on it in ibox. This causes a pretty much
immediate segfault of E17 for me. This happens a lot to me when I'm
debugging a program in Eclipse. If I iconify the application I'm

are you abnle to view any ttys on when doing ALT CNTL F1 F2 F3 F4 ?
the reason is is that there is a bug with X when trying to view the other terminals

I am running E17/FC4 and have been having a world of trouble with WM
crashes and frequent segfaults.
After a recent update to xorg packages the crashing WM seems to have
gone away, but the frequent segfaults are still happening.
