The best I can offer is to look at the old icon in the Task-bar
and see where it points. I think it will point to a non-existing
launch file that was deleted when the RR version was
Not sure why you are seeing that.

Alt-Click on taskbar icon gives several choices
Open New Tab
Open New Window
Firefox
Selecting Firefox opens a new Windows with my profile defaults

I just started using Firefox ESR instead of Firefox standard.
When you attempt to launch a new Firefox window by opposite mouse-clicking on
an existing Firefox taskbar icon and selecting Firefox from the resulting menu
nothing happens. With standard Firefox, that would launch a new Firefox
