Got it from a good source today that canon is coming out with two new digital series
SLR's later this year... one low end one high end..

I just got a press release from Canon.
Today, the new Canon EOS 300D is introduced. It will have a 6.3
Megapixel CMOS sensor with DIGI processor, a 35-segment light metering,
7 point AF, and will be able to shoot up to 2.5 pics per second. It
