This definately won't beat a 600/4. But I'm sure 70-200/2.8 x3 = 210-600/8
will have its applications (consumer grade 'soft-focus' tele ;^).

YES, sure you can. Simply shoot one (or more!) hole(s) through the film
leader before loading the film. Any firearm will do.
