causing the batteries to discharge. Canon inspected the camera and found no
fault.
It turns out that the Kodak batteries which I had bought from our local
store were no good. I've since changed brands.

I currently have just one EOS camera body (EOS 500), and I'm considering
buying a second one, probably second hand.
Can anyone suggest an economical model with a Flash Sync Speed higher than
1\90th. I like all the other features of my 500, but just need that little
faster flash sync.
