last "vacation" (Portugal and Spain), and I didn't regret
not having a longer lens, but I had a 10D then.
Other option would be a 70-200, and a 17-35.
Recommendations?
Thanks

I used to shoot jpeg except when I was really nervous. Post
processing was tedious. My best tool was UFRAW
(ufraw.sourceforge.net). Then I discovered Raw Shooter Essentials,
(and got a more powerful PC) and now I almost always shoot RAW.
It adds little time to my workflow.

I'm on a quest to add a backup battery for my 10D. Karen Nakamura
recommended accproshop on Ebay. I didn't find them, but found
similar products from power 101 (power101.com). Does anyone
have experience with them? I'm temped to get a battery and
charger.

Any suggestions? Does it need repair, or can i change something

I shot a fashion show last night and had lots of frustration with
autofocus. (I was using the -3 and 28-70 f/2.8, so that's almost as
good as it gets, yes?).
In AI servo mode, I would get the first shot, but as the model walked
toward me, the lens would zip to one end of the focus range, and by

I've actually been wanting to get feedback on this. There's a British
company selling NiMH 2CR5 batteries + charger:

anybody have any experience with them?

the way i really couldn't get any
info. They did have a 70-200L IS on display as well several other
lenses, but again, they didn't seem interested in letting anyone
look and see.
I guess it's better than Nikon or Olympus, who didn't show at all.

I've seen this lens discussed on european sites and on the canon
site, but can't seem to find any mention of it anywhere in the US.
Do any of the US retailers carry it? Are there any reviews?
Thanks
