A HUGE advantage for a pellicle mirror (EOS RT/RS) version would be
that the sensor surface would be permanently isolated from the outs

I was just testing out the infrared behavior of 20D and found out it's not
very sensitive (if at all) to infrared. It's funny my old G1 and optio
(even my sony camcorder) works well. Just wondering if anyone have the same
experience or simple way to convert 20D to take infrared photo.
