PSYCHE is the code name for RH8.0. PSYCHE also came with Ethereal-0.9.6-1. It may be in your rpm package database. Try this - rpm -q ethereal, just to make sure you don't have it installed. If you don't have it installed you also need to install the GTK. hope this helps. gene Guy Harris

Almost certainly this is a memory issue in Windows, usually after loading large files or the like that consume lost of memory. I have occasionally experienced this (with apps other than Ethereal). It seems that the font rendering engine gets corrupted, maybe it can't deal with the number of fonts
