I have been happily using a 64bit Ubuntu on my desktop at home. I use
it to watch videos and play music, and do occasionally use it fairly
heavily.
Of late I have not had too many problems other than the flash player
occasionally dying which is annoying but not critical (I have to
restart firefox,
I'm thinking of switching my desktop to Debian (testing) and was wondering who
is using a 64 bit distro in a desktop environment? What hurdles still exist?
What ups or downs have you noticed? Stability issues? Other comments?
