I thought you sold your Ford Festiva (I think it was) conversion and bought
a Leaf.
Or was that someone else?

A low voltage pack should use 200ah cells.
Then you'll get long range and long pack life.
Of course it will cost more like $10K.

Why do these companies keep insisting that their car is "worlds fastest"?
I guess they figure no one will check.
It gets tiring seeing everyone claim that their car is "worlds whatever"

Is 14.4kWh*0.8=11.5kWh going to give you the range you want? For me
that wouldn't be a long range EV.
I would recommend going with the CALB CA (gray) series of cells since
they are rated for a higher discharge rate and the voltage doesn't sag
as much as an equivalent TS or the CALB SA (blue) serie
Looks like the price for a 100 ah pack is around 5k for 144vdc not including
charger and BMS. That is a 14.4 KW pack. Is there a good source that can cut
this down. Is Manzanita Micro, xxx or xxx a good source for a total solution?

This is driven by a drive shaft from the front of the engine. I had a

Old-timers will recall the early to mid 1960s, when generally only land
yachts had power steering and power brakes. Compacts (Falcon, Chevy II,
Valiant, Rambler American) and small cars (VW, Opel, Datsun, Toyota) didn't
need them and didn't have them. They were optional on mid-size cars; the
