Last Sunday I watched a Motorweek show that touted the new Volt pih model.
For those that don't know, Motorweek has always been pretty stodgy
(old-fashion ice-heads). For that reason I do not watch their ice show
unless they are yakking about a plugin. I also wanted to see if they had
improved

So, is this good or bad? I don't see anything in the article about who
pays for it - public funding (i.e. taxes) or directly from SDG's
budget. If SDG pays the majority of the cost, there might be too much
motivation to treat them as a profit generator rather than a public
