There certainly can be nice aero trailers that
take little power to tow. In bad aero EVs like the Leaf, they can even clean
up it's aero enough to barely effect range.
But the examples are not it.

But this very expensive tear-drop design claims 25% the towing drag of a
conventional tailer.
