Not everywhere in the world or nation are drivers as impatient and stressed

Here's a tip from my woodworking knowledge - if you use sandpaper, even wet/dry,
to achieve a smooth finish make sure that you don't skip a grit number, it makes
the surface harder to actually get smoother.
Here's a graphic

Way too many years ago (1990's), I poured money into upgrades for the S-10
Blazer conversion EV I had (see
https://brucedp.neocities.org/blazer/
). The now retired San Mateo converter installed a small simple circuit that
helped maintain a constant battery current draw. I was lucky to get one as
trips? The questions are numerous.

Again, I'm not an expert, but I think I remember reading that sandpaper
isn't so good for this. It roughens the surfaces, and that actually reduces
the heat transfer.
Someone correct me if
Actually, I think that would be a dumb cruise control because it would vary
vehicle speed widely in order to maintain energy/mile in a pre-selected
range, resulting in the scenario that Lee described and angering other
drivers. It may work fine on almost level ground, but be a real pita to

I sent a query to loctite via their website asking for precut TO-220 /
TO-247 Silverstrate pads.
But if a paste like material has better conductivity I'll probably just
go with that.
I wasn't able to find an easy way to order the Silver Ice 710 online, I
may have to just call the manufacture

Mainly you want just a thin film of heatsink grease. It fills the voids
