lithium metal it’s a lithium salt which doesn’t react with air. And you should
use lots of water to put it

Didn't someone demonstrate several years ago that you could put a bullet
through a LiFePO4 cell without significant fire hazard? Or is my memory
playing tricks on me? I know that Tesla doesn't use LiFePO4.
