Hi Diane, Events for definitions using that hook are only created when the "clear shelf" process is used by staff. You'll want to set up a hold where the shelf_expire_time is before the start of today (where "today" is when you're testing) and then run the clear-shelf process from the hold shelf

Hi Diane, This notice would only trigger if the hold was canceled because the expire time passed. So the way to test it would be to set the expire time (note that this is different from shelf expire time, there is another action trigger template for that) on your hold to today and see if the
