There is also a feature that can be enabled to permit a patron to place
multiple holds. It is intended for book clubs or for family members to
read the same book.

We were told some years ago that if patrons double click when placing a
hold, they place two hold.

Hi Terri,
We've seen that kind of thing happen when staff don't check the item
in before checking it out to the patron and so the hold isn't actually
captured.
You may want to take a look a what you have set for the library
settings "Checkout Fills Related Hold" and "Checkout Fills
Anyone else?
Have any of you had any trouble with Evergreen sending multiple copies of
holds? We just had a patron get second copies of 3 books. It's almost like
the system renewed the hold when we checked the first copies out.
