Hi,
I've been trying to compile Evolution 1.2.0 (source from ftp.ximian.com) and run into
this error. This is compiling on Solaris 8, with GNU gettext/msgfmt on a sparc box:
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/local/tmp/evo-tmp/evolution-1.2.0/po'
/usr/local/bin/msgfmt -o tr.mo tr.po
/usr/loca
until it runs out of memory, then die.
Is anyone else seeing this problem?
- Michael-John.

Greetings all,
I have an issue with Custom Views in Evolution.
To reproduce:
1) Add a column to the mail table (such as 'Due By')
2) View -> Current View -> Save Custom View
3) Select 'Replace Existing View' .
4) Select 'Messages'.
Evolution chugs for a second and evolution-mail crashes: ("The
Hey all,
Any ideas why I might be getting this popup message on *every* message I try to view?
I'm using IMAP to view my mail on the latest CVS version (1.1.1).
Cheers,

Hey all,
Any idea what would cause the identity screen to have no content whatsoever?
It's a new account, with attached snapshot.
Any pointers appreciated.
Cheers!

Hey all,
Would it be possible to have a more verbose status bar when it comes to
receiving mail from an IMAP server?
Right now, when I click on 'Send/Receive', a window pops up with an
empty 'bar' (see attached picture) and the status bar at the bottom of
the main screen states "Scanning folders
Hey all,
Since it is possible to select multiple categories in the "Edit Global Category List",
selecting remove will only remove the last entry. Can it be so that all selected
categories are removed if the remove button is hit?
Cheers,

Hey all,
I think I've fixed the dialog button issue - gnome-libs wasn't quite
compiled/installed correctly, so that's now fixed.
Another issue. Evolution 1.0.8.99 (and 1.0.7 for that matter) have this
problem when I compile on Solaris 8 (and 9), with gcc 3.1.:
cal-factory.c: In function `add_ur

No warnings in the terminal, and nothing changes if I refresh
Hey all,
I've just managed to get 1.0.7 (and 1.1x) compiled under Solaris 8, but there's an issue - the icons in any dialog box that has an "OK" or "Cancel" button is missing, as well as a couple along the taskbar in the compose window. Instead of, say the green OK arrow, I have a black box
Hey all,
I've successfully managed to compile Evolution 1.0.3 on Solaris 8,
however there was a minor issue that caused a performance problem that
I'd like to share with anyone else who's in the same Solaris boat as I
am. :)
Essentially, it would take Evolution about 7-9 seconds to bring up a

Hey all,
Just a query - the "mark all as read" feature - if I select a parent (top level) mail
folder in my folders list, that contains subfolders which have unread messages, and
then select "Mark all as read", can this be applied to each sub folder?
If not, can this be a feature of a new rele
Hey all,
I've been trying to compile Evolution from source on an Ultra-Sparc box running
Solaris 8.
I've dug myself into a hole here, and I'd thought I'd stop digging for a few seconds.
To get Evolution working, gnome-vfs needs to have been compiled. [1]
