Probably missing the problem entirely, but:
(off_t) (offset*1.0)/size*100
The two casts each time make it slow, but you should keep the precision?
But then I've been coding in C for a grand 7 days, and should probably
be quiet =)

If you double-click a message title in the message-list (bringing up a
new window with that message in it) and then move immediately on the
another message in the list, the message that is available in a window
never gets "read" according to the list. S
