I have the same problem with Evolution version 3.36.4-0ubuntu1 running
on Ubuntu 20.04.
Thank you Andre for the link. I followed all the conversations and
checked the different links included.I ended up at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-data-server/3.36.5-0ubuntu1
and I
and evolution-
data-server_3.40.1.orig.tar.xz. I tried opening them. But I don't know
what to do now.

I connected Evolution iCloud to get my emails (IMAP), contacts and
calendars using the Apple App-specific Password.
It worked perfectly well for nearly a year. But recently I cannot get
any email at all. The only error message I get is
