Stuff like this will teach me to ignore my lists. At least now I will know why
when users ask. In a way it’s fortunate we don’t use OWA much but I am fairly
sure some recent issues with other in house apps may have this as the source.

The script works just fine, as is. The only limitation is that it doesn't do
through the iterations the way that Outlook does (SCP, example.com,
autodiscover.example.com, SRV).

My results of your script:
Exception calling "UploadString" with "2" argument(s): "The remote server
