99.99% of the time when we see this, the user has a device somewhere
configured to pull the mail off the server. Often, the don't even realize

It's been my understanding that a person should manage their calendar from
only one device, the Outlook Client (or OWA). Mobile devices should be used
to read the calendar, look at details of meetings, but do all the meeting
invites, scheduling, etc, from either OWA or the full blown Outlook Client
Two things I would check on the laptops. First, on the NIC, turn off the power
saving function (allow computer to turn off this device). This causes more
issues than anything else that I can think of.

HUB, MAILBOX, EDGE.

Why do brick level backups at all? There are products available that can take a
BKF file and pull one mailbox out to a PST file and you restore from that.
