serious about performance etc. then you need to use Sendmail's in-built
(if you build it to use this feature that is) MILTER (if you think of smtp
event sinks in Exchange 2000 then its _sort_ of the same thing) and then
the MI
Did the sink get regsitered correctly? is it enabled? an easy way to chec
this is by using the event sink admin utility found on the e-nspect web
site.

e-nspect (www.e-nspect.com) puts emails into an SQL database. Not all the
actual data though, for example, attachments are stored only as name, mime
type, file extension, and size. However, I am sure they would do a custom
version for you.

exchange log files, so you can also get information about your attachments
too..

just download the source and read _ALL_ the READMEs .. make sure to do this
in all the sub-dirs (but the top level README tells you where to look and
