Hello!
With this new feature in Ex2k3(RPC over HTTP), if I decided to use it then it's no
need to have OWA, right? Please advice. Thanks!

TP,
Do all of your users have Outlook 2003 outside your LAN, and *never*
connect using OWA from machines that don't have Outlook 2003?

I have a small group of users from a small NT domain, for some reason we can't migrate

them and they put their credential when launch OL2K. My question is how can I allow
them to change their AD password
Does anyone know why that the PDA(Compaq ActiveSync 3.5) won't sync with OL2K after
the migration from Ex55 to E2k?
Note: The user stills logon to the NT domain and accessing Ex2k mailbox from AD (We
have a full trust)

Hi,
In Exchange 2000, under the user properties - Exchange Advanced - Mailbox Rights,
here if I added a userID to give access to the mailbox, where is that security store?
Can I see that in ADSIEdit? Please, anyone?
Thanks!

: Mailbox rights security
It's stored in AD. Permissions on AD objects can be viewed through
ADSIEdit.

Good morning all !
I have a situation that I need an answer, we have a dept. currently using Novell and
they don't have any email system, they want to use our Exchange 2000 and house all
their mailboxes(they don't want to use POP3 or IMAP). Can I create the AD accounts
and mailboxes for
Exchange 2000 from an external domain
sure this will work just fine, as long as they can resolve the name and IP
address of the Exchange server, plus necessary ports need to be open.

Just a dump question or I gotta brain fart. When you used ADSIEDIT to change an
attribute on a user properties(ie. legacyExchnageDN), where are you exactly changing
it? Is it the AD database, schema or GC? Please educate me. Thanks

I think within the same storage group, everything configure for you automatically.
With additional storage group you have to configure everything manually.

Is it true that OL2K can't redirect to the new GC once the current one assigned by
DSAccess is unavailable? I heard that you have to restart OL in order to map the
available one. If that the case then it's a big dis-advantage to the clients, because
what if I took down the one of the GC then
to re-GC it because our few remaining OL98 clients wouldn't work.
