regulate stock-related activities) required the retention of mai

file to CD (CD's have a longer shelf-life than magnetic media) and keep the
media off-site.

Done that, but if you use 'tools recover deleted items' and then delete they
are gone for good - been scouring technet & other resources for a good
while
The only way you can completely assure that ALL emails are retained is to
turn on journaling.
