open Global Settings.
Select Internet Message Formats
In a basic install, you will see default in the right pane.
Right click default and select properties.
Look at the Advanced Tab.

Try setting some to fixed IP's and fixed DNS/WINS details on some of the
affected workstations. Sounds like a possible dhcp/portfast switch problem
if you can reboot and get it working.
